A successful EU Indo Pacific Energy Conference.

Day 1 - Achieving Energy Security Through Diversification                            

We thank all our esteemed VIPs and participants who attended our EU Indo Pacific Energy Conference which was organised by the European Union in Malaysia together with EUROCHAM Malaysia happened within the last 2 days.

The EU has launched the EU Energy Platform to pool demand, coordinate infrastructure use and negotiate with international partners to facilitate joint gas and hydrogen purchases. In parallel, the EU contributes to the global clean and just energy transition and is working with partners towards ensuring sustainable, secure and affordable energy worldwide, by boosting energy efficiency and the development of renewables.

On behalf of our fellow associate chamber, the Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC), we would like to extend an invitation to the upcoming HR Circle event that is organised every quarter of the year for all HR Personnel.

For this upcoming HR Circle on 9 March, SMCC is collaborating with International Labour Organisations (ILO) to discuss the topic "Skills Mismatch: Addressing Companies' Needs". SMCC has also invited Antah Schindler and MBAM for a sharing session. Please note that this will be a paid event for non-SMCC members.

EUROCHAM Malaysia conducted a very insightful and fruitful Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) sector committee meeting on the 16th of February 2023.
