EUROCHAM Malaysia jointly with the EU-ASEAN Business Council has invited YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Prime Minister of Malaysia (invited) to give a keynote address. Also during the Gala Dinner, there will be a Fireside Chat with YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali, the Minister of the International Trade and Industry (invited). YB Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, Minister of Health Malaysia (Invited), and Mr. Fabian Bigar, CEO of MyDigital Malaysia (confirmed) in attendance.

EUROCHAM Malaysia CEO, Mr. Sven Schneider, and the team as well as other private sector stakeholders participated in the Free Trade Agreement Impact Assessment Workshop happening today! The workshop was organised by the International Trade Centre in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and Investment (MITI) and funded by the EU via the ARISE Plus project, represented by the EU Delegation in Malaysia.

It is focused on capacity building on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Impact Assessment, and it aims to provide private sectors with the insight related to the Impact Assessment (IA) including the methodology as well as strengthen the private sector’s understanding of impact assessment in formulating free trade agreements.

EUROCHAM Malaysia CEO, Mr. Sven Schneider together with the team attended a meeting together with Mr Fabian Bigar, CEO of MyDIGITAL, Economic Planning Unit (EPU) and Prime Minister’s Department and the EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Cyber Security & Defence Sector Committee that was held at the Federal Government Administrative Centre today.

We thank Mr. Fabian Bigar and the Cyber Security & Defence Sector Committee for attending this meeting and sharing your thoughts and feedback as we discussed on the possible areas of interests in regards to the cyber security agenda and Cyber Laws in Malaysia.
