The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has issued a media statement regarding the Review Of Control Measures During The Transition Phase To Endemic – media statement as follows:
Beginning April 1, 2022, Malaysia has entered the Transition to Endemic Phase following the effectiveness of public health prevention and control measures, including the COVID-19 vaccination program in managing the transmission of COVID-19 infection in the country.
The health service system is now at an improving stage with the rate of hospital admissions of COVID-19 cases and the use of intensive care wards declining. This success was also contributed by the public's awareness of the importance of adopting the preventive measures recommended by the Government. Therefore, the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) would like to thank and congratulate all Malaysian families for their cooperation.
The team had a fun and intimate session of breaking fast last night. It was a great experience to reconnect and unwind together – we enjoyed our time together during this Ramadhan month in learning and sharing our immense blessings.
