Also during the Gala Dinner, there will be a Fireside Chat with YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali, the Minister of the International Trade and Industry (invited). YB Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, Minister of Health Malaysia (Invited), and Mr. Fabian Bigar, CEO of MyDigital Malaysia (confirmed) in attendance.

Take the opportunity to have a closer look on how Unilin (Malaysia) revamped Unilin’s Wood Business by responding extremely agile on the consequences of crisis it faced over the last 3 years. Together with his passionate team, Plant Manager, Mr. Frank Poels will elaborate on how the business overcame a potential closure after suffering four months of an enforced lockdown and revived to become the most profitable business within Unilin Flooring for Q1 in 2022.

Today, the European Commission launched the European Health Data Space (EHDS), one of the central building blocks of a strong European Health Union. The EHDS will help the EU to achieve a quantum leap forward in the way healthcare is provided to people across Europe. It will empower people to control and utilise their health data in their home country or in other Member States. It fosters a genuine single market for digital health services and products. And it offers a consistent, trustworthy and efficient framework to use health data for research, innovation, policy-making and regulatory activities, while ensuring full compliance with the EU's high data protection standards.

The Vice-President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas, said: “I am proud to announce the first common EU data space in a specific area. The European Health Data Space will be a ‘new beginning' for the EU's digital health policy, making health data work for citizens and science. Today, we are laying down the foundations for secure and trustworthy access to health data that is fully in line with the fundamental values underpinning the EU.”
