A media statement has been issued by the YAB Prime Minister regarding the economic sector facilities – media statement as follows:
On August 8, I announced social sector facilities for individuals who have received a complete vaccination. The facilities include cross-state or district for long-distance couples, long-distance children for Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), and cross-district, dine-in, and outdoor sports activities for states in Phase 2 of the NRP and beyond.
I also note that restaurant operators have displayed information on the number of employees who have received complete vaccinations to help customers choose the premises they want to visit. There are also premise owners who want to wait until all their employees are fully vaccinated before starting dine-in activities to create a safer premise environment.
Here are the highlights of the latest updated SOP for Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) for the entire State of Sabah
Areas Involved:
The entire state of Sabah except the districts and localities enforced by EMCO. EMCO SOP in the localities is effective until the expiry date of the EMCO.
Kota Kinabalu, Putatan and Penampang districts are categorized as one District.
Effective Period:
From 10 July 2021 (Starting 12.01am)
YAB Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has delivered a special today – special message as follows:
Our country is still facing the bitter challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to extend my condolences to the family members of the Covid-19 victims who have left us forever and pray that all Covid-19 patients are given an immediate cure.
I hope the vaccination program that is being actively carried out at the moment will restore our country soon, God willing.
Malaysia is expected to achieve a vaccination rate of 100 percent of the adult population and 80 percent of the total population by October this year, within the next two months. At that time, InsyaAllah, Covid-19 cases will record a significant decrease and become more controllable.
On behalf of the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC), we would like to extend an invitation to a panel discussion – Gearing Up Digitalisation and Automation in Malaysia on Thursday, 19 August 2021 at 2 PM (+8 GMT). MGCC has gathered an exceptional list of panellists from different backgrounds to discuss Digitalisation and Automation in Malaysia.
The pandemic has accelerated the need for companies to leverage digital technology to develop better business practices to adapt to the new normal. Industry Revolution (IR) 4.0 provides unlimited opportunities to overcome challenges and bring businesses forward – given the shift in consumer behaviour, business model, regulations and supply chain disruptions brought upon by COVID-19.
This panel discussion will be a captivating session on how businesses and SMEs that are facing difficulties in leveraging digitalisation can start their venture into new technology.
