We commend Malaysia's Pre-Budget Statement (PBS) released on 30 July 2024 and express our strong support for the Government's Budget 2025 initiatives to enhance global competitiveness and improve the 'Ease of Doing Business.'

We are thrilled to announce that our esteemed member, The Malaysia Expatriate Service Centre (MYXpats), has introduced new application features and revised service fees for Expatriate Employment, Dependent, and Professional Visit Passes, effective from 01 September 2024.
Launched on 1 July 2015 as a subsidiary of Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp), MYXpats operates as an extension of the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) under the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM). MYXpats is dedicated to processing and issuing Employment Passes (EP) and related passes for eligible expatriates aspiring to work in Malaysia.
EUROCHAM Malaysia was invited to attend the Climate Finance Summit 2024 yesterday, held at Sasana Kijang. The summit convened industry leaders and policymakers, including YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition, YB Nik Nazmi, Minister of Environmental Sustainability, and H.E. Michalis Rokas, EU Ambassador to Malaysia.
The summit's three forums provided an in-depth platform for discussing critical aspects of climate finance, focusing on Malaysia's unique challenges and opportunities. During one of the forums – Embracing the Green Shift in Sustainability Adoption: A Brief, explored the convergence of various financing avenues across entire organisations in a transformative approach to support Malaysia’s climate agenda. We’re happy to see our fellow member Ditrolic Energy represented by Mr Tham Chee Aun, Group CEO participating in the pivotal panel session.
