EUROCHAM Malaysia attended the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Advance 5G for Enterprises in Malaysia. Ericsson has partnered with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) as a connectivity partner to work with leading enterprises to utilise the globally-leading 5G Advanced-ready network to propel Malaysia as a global digital trailblazer.
In support of this initiative to drive the aspiration for a Digital Malaysia, we witnessed several MoU signings with local and international partners to foster industry collaborations such as eMooVit, Intel, Scania, SKF. During the event, speeches were given by Datuk Ahmad Zaki, Chief Strategy Officer DNB, and Börje Ekholm, President & CEO Ericsson. Also present was YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital.
These MoUs will set the foundation to transform the economy of Malaysia with the power of 5G. These select enterprises are within industries covered by the Malaysian myDIGITAL initiative and will act as the catalyst to drive further digitalisation of Malaysia’s industries and society.
