EUROCHAM Malaysia organised a Technical Meeting with YM Raja Mohd Nizam bin Raja Kamarulbahrin, Undersecretary of International Division, Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) yesterday.

We were honored to organise a highly productive technical meeting that brought together key stakeholders from various sectors. In attendance were prominent personalities, including Mr. Oliver Roche, Chairman, EUROCHAM Malaysia, Mr. Sven Schneider, EUROCHAM Malaysia CEO, Mr. Jordi Pol Ramon, Board of Director of EUROCHAM Malaysia, representatives from our bilateral chambers and corporate partners, Undersecretary of International Division, Ministry of Human Resources and Policy Division, International Division, TVET Secretariat

The meeting focused on crucial topics and initiatives that pave the way for fostering collaboration and promoting growth in Malaysia's business landscape.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is a new pathway for economic growth that promotes technical competency and attracts more multinational cooperation by offering career opportunities for its graduates.

Malaysian Employers Federation president Datuk Dr Syed Hussain Syed Husman said people with technical skills would be running the world because of the advancement of technology supporting present day’s needs.

“As we progress into the future, traditional ways of working or systems cannot compete with global digitalisation. So for mankind or a nation, it has to depend on technicians and engineers to work on these and improve them further.

“Malaysia, too, needs to upgrade its technical skills to manage and contribute to this advancement. Digitalisation, instrumentation and all kinds of automation will rule the future,” he told Bernama recently.
