Latest Updates from Senior Minister of Defence, YB Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob

UPDATES: Senior Minister of Defence, YB Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob provided new updates today in regard to COVID-19 in Malaysia, key points to take note are:
  • EMCO implemented in Housing Flat in Taman Harmoni Sandakan (effective 23 Oct 2020 to 5 Nov 2020) : Residents are not allowed to leave from their respective homes, besides for emergency cases whereby an application must be submitted to Royal Malaysian Police. 
  • WFH Instruction in KL, Putrajaya, Labuan, Selangor & Sabah effective 22 Oct 2020: HOD shall ensure all officers at the management and administration levels that are not required to be in office, to WFH. For further details on this instruction & related SOPs, refer to MITI website. 
  • Swab Test: Mandatory for foreign workers in the construction and security guard sectors as well as for individuals who are symptomatic; workers from the red zone who need to work in office are recommended to undergo a swab test.
