i. Disease prevention protocol & restrictions:

- Employers should provide workplace protocols that cover screening for disease symptoms and prevention of infection with reference to the guidelines of Annex 25: COVID-19: MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES FOR WORKPLACES Ministry of Health Malaysia:

ii. Health screening:

- Provide thermal scanners or handheld infrared thermometers.

- Perform screening to detect COVID-19 related symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath on a daily basis.

- Screening should be done daily at the entrance of the factory / premises.

- Employees with temperatures above 37.5 degrees Celsius and showing symptoms such as sore throat, cough, cold, shortness of breath are not allowed to work and enter the premises.
