Special Message by YAB Prime Minister

YAB Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has delivered a special message– special message as follows:

First of all, I would like to apologize to dear brothers and sisters because, in the situation where our country is facing the big challenge of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, I have to come up with an explanation to the position of the Perikatan Nasional Government and the legitimacy of me as Prime Minister.

Yesterday I received a letter from His Majesty, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong informing me that there were eight UMNO MPs who had written a letter to the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) informing retraction of support to me.

In this letter, His Majesty, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong cited two provisions in Federal Constitution.
