Malaysian Germany Chamber of Commerce (MGCC) is hosting their annual event – Oil & Gas Industry Outlook: A Passage to 2030 on Thursday, 12 August 2021 at 10 AM (+8 GMT). Each year MGCC will focus on different industries, and this year the focus will be on the Oil & Gas industry.
The Oil and Gas industry in Malaysia is undergoing a significant transformation in achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness. Recently, the National Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) Industry Blueprint was launched to ensure the industry continues to flourish by 2030. With an additional ambitious 10-year plan, the National Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Policy is also expected to increase productivity in Malaysia by 30% across all sectors by the year 2030.
This event will be an engaging session on how the Oil and Gas industry contributes to the Nation’s economy through these implementations. As well as if the current policies, trends, technology solutions are able to strengthen the country’s position as a strong Oil and Gas Nation in the region.
