On behalf of our bilateral member, The Malaysia-Swedish Business Association (MASBA), we would like to invite EUROCHAM Malaysia members to join the World Bank Webinar on Malaysia’s Economic Outlook in the Post-Pandemic Era, happening on Monday, 29 November 2021 from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Join an interesting line-up of speakers from the World Bank Group, Dr. Yasuhiko Matsuda - Country Manager, World Bank Group, and Mr. Chong Yew Keat - Economist for Malaysia, Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment where they will share their insights into the novel situation that awaits us in the post-Covid era. They will also share how the pandemic affected the Malaysian economy and what we have learned from it. Other topics include Malaysia’s economic outlook post-COVID19 and the structural fiscal reforms Malaysia needs to undertake in the aftermath of COVID-19.  

The discussion will focus on the obstacles as well as the possibilities for Malaysia moving forward, as well as how Malaysia fared compared to the greater APAC region. This webinar session will be moderated by Dr. Jenny J Westin - Executive Director, MASBA.
