EUROCHAM Malaysia together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic conducted an insightful and engaging inaugural hybrid meeting with the newly formed Cyber Security and Defence Sector Committee. Among the members that were present were, Mr. Ho Siew Kei, Partner and Risk Advisory at Deloitte, who has also been appointed as the Head of the Sector Committee, together with Ms. Renata Brandstatterova, Economic and Trade, Czech Republic Embassy who has been appointed as Deputy Head of the Sector Committee.
Also in attendance during the inaugural sector committee were as follows:

- Mr. Pekka Penttila Trade and Economic Attache, EU Delegation;
- Mr. Aizad Ali, Market Officer, Advantage Austria;
- Ms Sandra Sinom Anggat, BeLuxCham Malaysia;
- Mr. Macalik Frantisek, OKSystem, Czech Republic;
- Mr. Filipovic, International Business Development Manager, OKSystem, Czech Republic;
- Ms. Anita Jacobson, MD, Alpine Group Services; and
- Mr. Clement Chew, MD, Atlas Solutions.
Representing EUROCHAM Malaysia during this Cyber Security and Defence Sector Committee were EUROCHAM Malaysia CEO, Mr Sven Schneider, Ms Deda Ridzwani, Senior Advocacy Manager and Ms Presanna Nair, Events and Marketing Officer.
During the committee meeting, we identified and discussed the updates of the Cyber Security and Defence topic from the members of the committee as well as the discussion on future Cyber Security position papers and the proposal for future collaboration on upcoming events/engagements.
