EV webinar - The Future of Connected Vehicles in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam

We are pleased to share that EUROCHAM Malaysia is in collaboration as a co-organiser with EuroCham Singapore for the third edition of the EV webinar - The Future of Connected Vehicles in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.

In this webinar, we will feature the key market trends driving factors of the growth in this new market. We will answer a very important question in the webinar, “Is ASEAN ready to invest in the connected cars market and the required infrastructure to decrease the number of road accidents and to meet the higher demand for vehicle management?” We will hear from governments, international safety originations, and significant industry players in the ASEAN market about how they are working together to use information-sharing and connectivity to improve road safety further and provide the citizens with a more comfortable driving experience.

Representing EUROCHAM Malaysia during this webinar session will be Mr Mohd Junaizee Bin Mohd Noor, Project Director for PMO Electric Vehicle at Tenaga Nasional Berhad. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri and a Master in Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. With 30 years of working experience with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in various capacities and units including maintenance, training, asset management and strategy formulation, he was tasked with leading the Program Management Office (PMO) for Electric Vehicle in August 2021 as TNB is leading the industry in proliferating EV in Malaysia.

The webinar will be in the format of a panel discussion. The panellists will include:

- Malaysia: Ir Mohd Junaizee B Mohd Noor, Project Director, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB);

- Philippines: Dr Jose Bienvenido Manuel M. Biona, PhD, Executive Dean, Enrique Razon Jr. Logistics Institute  of De La Salle University; and

- Singapore: Mr Das Achuth, Senior Commercial Manager / Electromobility Lead, Volvo Buses APAC Central.

The session will be moderated by Mr Niels de Boer (Nanyang Technological University (NTU)).
