EUROCHAM Malaysia conducted a productive meeting with the Cyber Security and Defence Sector Committee last week. In attendance was the Head of the Cyber Security and Defence Sector Committee, Mr. Siew Kei Ho, Executive Director of Risk Advisory, Deloitte, Deputy Head of the Cyber Security and Defence Sector Committee, Ms. Renata Brandstatterova, Economic and Trade Counsellor, Embassy of Czech Republic, and the EUROCHAM Malaysia team, alongside the other committee members, that include:

- Mr. Timo Goosman, First Secretary / Deputy Head of Missions, EU Delegation to Malaysia;

- Mr. Clement Chew, Managing Director, Atlas Solutions;

- Mr. Tunku Aznal Shahabuddin, Partner, Atlas Solutions;

- Mr. Afrizal Rahim, Head of Government Relations, Ericsson;

- Ms. Zakiah Kassim, Communications Strategist, Ericsson;

- Ms. Nur Azyyati Anis Azmi, Chief Marketing Officer, Acasia Communications Sdn Bhd; and

- Mr. Asrin Yusairi, Chief Strategic Officer, Acasia Communications Sdn Bhd.

During our committee meeting, we discussed updates on our continuous collaboration to enhance and improve cybersecurity management within the EU-MY community through various and strategic informational sharing. As well as the challenges that were faced along the way within the Cyber Security and Defence sector.
