EUROCHAM Malaysia conducted a very insightful Construction Sector Committee Meeting on 7th September 2022 attended by Mr. Sven Schneider, CEO of EUROCHAM Malaysia, and the members that were present during the sector committee meeting were:

• Mr. Rob van Haaren, the Director of Leviat South-East Asia & India

• Mr. Chow Wing Kah, the General Manager of Zofar Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Sdn Bhd

• Ts Edna Safawi, the General Manager of BCISM

• Ms. Monaliza Mohd Ali the Director of Crowe KL Tax Sdn Bhd

• Mr. Sree Haran Suberamaniam, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld)

During the meeting, we highlighted the restructuring in the committee and did the overview as well as the updates on the ongoing Construction pertinent issues. We also discussed the upcoming Construction-related events and engagements which will be organized to further facilitate the cooperation between industry experts and the government.

We thank all the committee members who attended the sector committee meeting and made it a productive and interesting meeting. We look forward to having more upcoming Construction sector committee meetings as we cooperate to bolster and improve the community.
