The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob recently announced a special message in conjunction with the dissolution of the 14th Parliament. The special message is as follows:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Greetings to the Malaysian Family.
1. Alhamdulillah, let us express our gratitude to Allah SWT, owner of all blessings, because with His grace and permission, I AM able to deliver a special message on this blessed evening.
2. First of all, let me express my gratitude for the abundant favor of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah, with the approval of all the Malay Kings, for my appointment as the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia, in a very challenging country situation at that time.
3. On this occasion, allow me to also express my deepest gratitude to the entire Malaysian Family for supporting and guiding me all this time, in fulfilling the trust and responsibility as Head of Government.
4. Taking ibrah from the words of Allah S.W.T in surah Ali-Imran verse 54; which means; "And they plan, God also plans, and God is the best planner." On August 21, 2021, I was destined by God to lead the national administration.
