The Ministry of Human Resources issued a media statement regarding the Implementation of the Relaxation Plan of Employment of Foreign Workers – media statement as follows:

1. The Government has announced the implementation of the Relaxation Plan for the Employment of Foreign Workers to speed up the application process and the approval of the employment of foreign workers in critical sectors. In this connection, the KSM would like to inform that the implementation of this program will be implemented for critical sectors / sub-sectors as follows:

i. Manufacturing

ii. Construction

iii. Farming

iv. Agriculture

v. Service (Restaurant only)

2. Employers under the five sectors/sub sectors mentioned above can submit an application for the employment of foreign workers through the platform Foreign Worker Centralized Management System (FWCMS) under Modules FWe Approval effective immediately. The Ministry of Home Affairs will process and approve the application for the employment of foreign workers within three (3) working days from the date the application is received. Advertising vacancies on the Portal MyFutureJobs is excluded with immediate effect.
