EUROCHAM Malaysia organised together with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) the Technical Committee on Compliance to New EU Directives.
In a momentous gathering, EUROCHAM Malaysia and the FMM convened the highly anticipated Technical Committee on Compliance to New EU Directives. Chaired by the esteemed YBhg. Dato’ Adnan Pawanteh, the committee was joined by distinguished attendees from various sectors and governmental bodies. The meeting was attended by Mr Jordi Pol Ramon, Board Member of EUROCHAM Malaysia, Mr Francesco Floris, Head of Trade and Economic Relations, EU Delegation to Malaysia, Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary General (Management & Investment) of MITI.
Also in attendance were representatives from relevant ministries and agencies such as Bursa Malaysia, MATRADE, MITI, Energy Commission and Natural Resources, Environment, Climate Change Ministry (NRECC) and Energy Commission (ST).
The meeting provided a unique platform for exchange and shared insights, where the attendees explored the implications and opportunities arising from these directives. As the EU's sustainability initiatives gain momentum, Malaysia is committed to ensuring a sustainable future and fostering strong partnerships with the European Union.
To further strengthen and support the alliance for more fruitful collaborations, EUROCHAM Malaysia looks forward to arranging more discussions with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) in the future.
