EUROCHAM Malaysia was invited to attend an event organised by the Malaysia Dutch Business Council (MDBC) and supported by ItalCham Malaysia, CCIFM - CCI France Malaysia, DanCham Malaysia, Swiss Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, and EUROCHAM Malaysia. The topics covered included a briefing on the 2024 Budget by Deloitte Tax Services, unveiling the details of updates on the Budget 2023 themed “Reformasi Ekonomi, Memperkasakan Rakyat” (Economic Reform, Empowering People). It focused on the changes impacting both corporate and personal budgets.

The special engagement with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia included a briefing on e-Invoicing by IRB Malaysia. Discover the upcoming implementation of e-Invoice as part of Malaysia's efforts to enhance tax administration. Aligned with the Twelfth Malaysia Plan's focus on digital services infrastructure, e-Invoicing promises near real-time validation and storage of transactions for B2B, B2C, and B2G interactions. The implementation will be fully realised in August, making it crucial to understand the system flow. The engagement session was fully activated by the response from IRB and Deloitte with the audience in attendance.
