We were delighted to introduce Iskandar Investment Berhad and delve into the continuation of the K-Youth 2024 Programme, spearheaded by Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
The meeting was graced by the presence of esteemed professionals and industry experts, including Ms. Azizah Khalid Merican, VP Education, YM Raja Yasmin Raja Zaini Ismail, VP Asset Management (Special Projects), Mr. Shukri Draman, Head of Asset Management, Dr. Mohd Emil Azril Bahari Md Noor, General Manager Government Affairs & Market Access, ASEAN, B Braun, Mr. Derek Foo, Business Development Manager, The Development Centre, and Mr. Amir Shariff, Chief Marketing Officer, BCN Smart Technologies.
Our discussion focused on the vital role of talent development and the impactful initiatives of the K-Youth 2024 Programme that can further empower youth, equipping them with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s dynamic job market. We shared our diverse points of view in terms of education and training programmes as well as browsed opportunities for the student programmes. The presentation was to highlight the programme that aims to provide employment opportunities and invest in the training and development of youth mainly in 3 industries:
- Hospitality and Services;
- Machinery and Equipment Specialist Certification; and
- Digital and Technology.
