On July 9th, EUROCHAM Malaysia had the honour of participating in the Budget 2025 Engagement Session chaired by YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Finance. This pivotal session at the Ministry of Finance in Putrajaya marks the beginning of the Budget 2025 preparation process, launching a series of nationwide engagements to gather inputs and budget proposals from diverse stakeholders.

- With over 400 representatives from ministries, associations, business councils, economists, scientists, NGOs, and international organizations, the event facilitated meaningful collaboration and dialogue.
- The session was expertly moderated by Treasury Secretary General Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican.
- Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying, and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) Governor Datuk Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour were present to contribute their insights.
