Strengthening EU-Malaysia Business Relations: A Productive Parliamentary Special Select Committee Meeting

Yesterday, EUROCHAM Malaysia had the privilege of hosting the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on Infrastructure, Transportation, and Communication. Supported by representatives from our corporate partners, members, and our Automotive, Construction, and Digital Business sector committees, it was a highly productive meeting to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by the EU business community in Malaysia.

Key discussion points included:

  • Automotive Sector: Emission standards, policy regulations, and sustainable transport systems
  • Digital Business: The transformative potential of 5G in driving Malaysia's digitalisation efforts

We are optimistic about the outcomes of this meeting and the potential for collaborations between EUROCHAM Malaysia and our Malaysian stakeholders. The productive discussions have established a strong foundation for ongoing cooperation and mutual support.
