EUROCHAM Malaysia is proud to highlight an automotive spotlight for our fellow member, Volvo Trucks Malaysia, as they continue to champion gender inclusivity in the automotive sector.
At this year’s International Women’s Day 2025 celebration at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Volvo Trucks Malaysia took part as an exhibitor, championing gender inclusivity in the industry. Invited by the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development and the Department of Women’s Development, Volvo showcased its Iron Women program, an initiative designed to empower women to become Heavy Duty truck drivers.
The event was officiated by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, alongside YB Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri (Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development), and Deputy Minister YB Dato’ Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad.
With a strong commitment to fostering a more inclusive trucking industry, Volvo Trucks Malaysia continues to break barriers and create opportunities for women in the sector.
