Led by Chua Meng Hui, Partner at Ernst & Young Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd, the session delved into essential economic insights across sectors like finance, technology, and healthcare, and how these developments shape Malaysia’s growth trajectory.

EUROCHAM Malaysia recently hosted the E-Invoicing Webinar, co-organised with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

A big thank you to our expert speakers, Dr. Rasyidah binti Che Rosli, Director of the e-Invoice Division at IRBM, and Mr. Zakiy R. Hisham, representing Industry and Government Bodies, Stakeholders Relations at MDEC, for delivering valuable insights on Malaysia's transition to a fully digitalised tax system.

Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the pivotal changes introduced in the second wave of E-Invoicing, particularly for businesses with revenues ranging from RM 25-RM 100 million.

Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and EUROCHAM Malaysia are keen to formalize their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU aims to strengthen their cooperation and build a synergistic relationship that benefits both parties. Following the exchange, a C-suite networking event will provide an ideal platform for engagement that will be hosted by HSBC.
