ABOUT THIS COMMITTEE
The EUROCHAM Construction Committee was launched in 2019 and aims to contribute to the Malaysian Construction and Property industries through the promotion of the digital revolution, Industrial Revolution 4.0 (4IR), framework to the Malaysian policymakers and stakeholders.
The committee aims to promote technologies, products, and services from the European Union community that may benefit both Malaysian and European actors. Part of the Construction Committee’s action plans would be to increase awareness and understanding of construction digitalization, its benefits, and its effectiveness among Malaysian policymakers and stakeholders, to highlight the transformative effects of the European experience in adopting digitalization in the construction industry. Additionally, to encourage cross-fertilization within the framework of construction technologies, products, and services between the EU and Malaysia and to contribute to conversations and thought leadership on the digitalization of the construction industry through representations at local and international workshops, roundtable discussions, speaking opportunities, and other events.
