Wines and Spirits

ABOUT THIS COMMITTEE

The EUROCHAM Wines and Spirits Committee was established in 2011 and comprises market-leading companies engaged in the importing and selling of wines and spirits in Malaysia. The members represent more than 50 premium brands of wines and spirits imported and consumed in Malaysia.

The main focus of the Wines and Spirits committee are to represent the European wines and spirits industry and to serve as an effective platform and focal point for addressing all issues affecting the import sales of wines and spirits in Malaysia. Apart from that, this committee also collaborates with relevant government authorities to address issues pertaining to contraband and counterfeit wines and spirits, and to recommend measures to curb them. This committee may engage with the Ministry of Health in regard to Food Regulations and provide recommendations on regulations concerning wines and spirits.
