This matters for digital-sector hiring and SME tech adoption: the DE Rantau Nomad Pass gets a two-year extension for holders at the limit, an additional 100,000 free subscriptions to AI tools including ChatGPT are being rolled out to broaden access, and the Digital Rakyat Platform continues offering 16,000+ free courses via Coursera. MSMEs adopting AI, digital nomads, and employers hiring AI-skilled talent may be affected, with the pondok school digitalisation rollout (300+ schools) and the wider talent programmes still in early implementation.
