The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has reaffirmed its role in supporting the government’s AI Nation 2030 vision through the Malaysia Digital 2030 (MD2030) agenda. The roadmap aims to increase the digital economy’s contribution from 25% to 30% of the economy by 2030, while supporting the development of 500,000 high-value jobs and strengthening local digital innovation. MDEC will focus on bringing together industry, talent, infrastructure and innovation to support AI adoption, digital transformation and the development of Malaysia’s digital economy.
