The Ministry of Higher Education’s (MOHE) Targeted Tour 2026 has continued in Perak, focusing on expanding direct access to higher education information and opportunities for the Orang Asli community, including students in remote areas. The programme provides guidance on UPUOnline applications, merit score calculations and study pathways, alongside TVET, entrepreneurship and professional programmes, with 25 Orang Asli receiving offer letters for diploma-level teacher training at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The initiative is being carried out with state and community partners and includes higher education guidance, skills development, welfare and community services, as well as cultural heritage activities.
