Malaysia’s July Exports Jump 38% Year on Year, Higher Than Forecast

Malaysia’s exports rose 38% year-on-year in July, exceeding market expectations of 34.3%, while imports increased 36.4%. The stronger trade performance was supported by continued demand across key export sectors, including electrical and electronic products. The country recorded a RM22.5 billion trade surplus for the month, above the RM17.5 billion forecast.
